This summer will mark my fifth year of calling San Francisco home. Its ambitious hustle, obsessive nerdiness, and cultural hodgepodge guided me out of my early twenties. I can frankly say there’s no place I’d rather have spent them. The people I’ve connected and shared experiences with in SF since 2009 have given me enough love, animation and adventure to fill a lifetime.
A few days ago I bought a one way ticket to Berlin, and I’m leaving May 20th.
I’m doing it to REALLY have a go at this music thing, because if I don’t now, I’ll always wonder what-if. I’m doing it to live outside the ‘murca for a while and meet new people that are totally different from me. I’m doing it to learn a 2nd language and live a different way. I’m doing it to introduce intensity and challenge into my life because that’s when I’m the happiest and that’s how humans grow.
Anyhoo. I love you all so much. I’m going to be doing a little AZ and Portland visit before I split too <3 And I’ll see all my European baes sooooon
On a professional tip: I’m now being represented by Paul at Paramount for European bookings and Devin at Surefire for North America.
Let’s do this.
